Coolidge HS - Recognized by Carter Bloodcare

High school blood drives make up nearly one-fourth of the total collections of blood in Texas. A small - 1A school, Coolidge ISD (CISD), is leading the way. Coolidge ISD was recognized at the 2019 Annual Recognition Dinner hosted by Carter Bloodcare. After holding four blood drives, CISD achieved the highest number of units donated among the area 1-A schools with a total of 84 units. The National Honor Society at CISD is the organization that is responsible for organizing and working each of the blood drives. Everyone is invited to donated at their next blood drive which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st from 9 am - 3 pm. For more information contact Pennie Sumrall at 254-786-2206. All the units of blood assists Carter Bloodcare to supply much needed blood, all of which stays within the Central Texas area.
